Overcoming and understanding with God personal transformation

Hello, I’m Tamara Kaiwa. My life has been a testament to the power of faith and the potential for personal transformation. Today, I want to discuss a theme that is deeply woven into my story and the stories of many others—rejection.

From a very young age, I experienced the sharp sting of rejection. My mother’s severe mental health issues contributed to a childhood characterized by frequent moves and instability. This instability often left me feeling unwanted and unloved. By the time I was a teenager, I had lived in over 14 different foster homes and shelters. Each transition was a reminder that nothing was permanent but change.

Rejection could have defined me. It could have clipped my wings before I ever learned to fly. But it didn’t, thanks to God. I learned that while we cannot control the actions of others, we can control how we respond to them.
